LCS 2012 Health and Social Care Summer Events
LCS & the Adam Smith Institute present their 2012 Health and Social Care Summer events programme
Organised by LCS International in partnership with the Adam Smith Institute, these are now established as leading annual policy events in the health and social care calendar. They bring together senior people in the private and public sectors and facilitate discussion between the NHS, Social Services and the independent and voluntary sectors on the significant challenges and opportunities in health and social care.
They are held against the background of the new Health and Social Care legislation and the forthcoming White Paper on Social Care.
The events will be hosted by Lord Clement-Jones CBE and Lord Ribeiro CBE.
May 10 Paul Burstow MP Minister of State DoH, will speak and Lord Clement-Jones CBE will chair.
May 15 Lord Boswell will chair a panel including Rory Maw, Vice Chairman Guy’s FT and Bridges Ventures; Peter Calveley, CEO Four Seasons Health Care; Ian Gillespie, CEO Vanguard and John Bugos, Strategy Director, HCA.
June 11 Lord Clement-Jones CBE will chair a panel comprising Lord Warner; Dr Sarah Wollaston MP; Andrew Taylor, COO McKesson and David Colin-Thome.
