
LCS is delighted to present two debates on the future of health care and social care. Distinguished speakers will represent government and opposition, chairs and chief executives of major health and social care providers and the public sector.
The Health Care Reform Debate will be held on Tuesday 29th March 2011.
The Chair is Lord Clement Jones.
Speakers include:
Earl Howe Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department of Health; Lord Warner, former Health Minister and Member of the Dilnot Commission on Funding of Care and Support for Adults; Lord Carter, Chair of the NHS Co-operation and Competition Panel; Rt Hon Stephen Dorrell MP, Chair of Parliamentary Health Committee and Adrian Fawcett, Chief Executive of General Healthcare.
The Social Care Reform Debate will be on Wednesday 11th May 2011.
The Chair is Norman Lamb MP, Chief parliamentary and political advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister.
Speakers include:
Lord Warner; Andrew Dilnot, Chair of Dilnot Commission on Funding of Care and Support for Adults; David Behan, Director General of Social Care, Department of Health; Mike Parish, CEO Care UK and Mark Jackson, Deputy Chairman SAGA Group.
The debates will take place at 123 Buckingham Palace Road, kindly provided by PA Consulting and will start at 4.30. There will be ample opportunity for participation by delegates. Each event will conclude with a reception. The delegate price is £235+vat for each debate and includes a signed copy of Lord Warner's new book on health and social care.
