In Association with The Times and Public Agenda

20th October 2005

This conference provides a forward look at the challenges, opportunities and levers that will drive change and deliver a community and customer-responsive family health service.

How the NHS will deliver on these issues and achieve customer choice; how the NHS and PSS will achieve radical change in healthcare and social care pathways and how in these “prudent” times, the NHS will deliver these improvements and meet customer's growing expectations, will be discussed on the day.

By 2008, the UK’s spending on health and social care will exceed 10% of GNP – equivalent to 0.3% of World GDP. GP practice based commissioning already controls more than two thirds of budgets.

This conference provides a forward look at the challenges and levers that will drive change and deliver a community and customer-responsive family health service.
