This conference looked to address the challenges, opportunities and levers that have driven change and delivered a community and customer-responsive family health service. The theme was delivering the Care in the Community agenda.

Taking the lead from the January White Paper (Our health, our care, our say), explored the practicalities of the transfer of care services from the Hospital to Primary Care and the home in the UK health service.

The focus was on developing competence, flexibility and creativity in the NHS and across the Independent sector.
