Andrew Urwin, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Andrew is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Knee Surgery and Sports Injuries relating to the knee in particular.

He qualified at Westminster Medical School and trained in West London. He was formerly an NHS Consultant in Berkshire but since 2001 has been in full-time private practice.

As well as maintaining his interests in Orthopaedics and Medical Education he is a Non-Executive Director of The One Health Group and advises on the role of the medical workforce in its relationship with public and private sector bodies in acute health care.

He is also involved in the development of formal outcome measures for medical and surgical interventions in healthcare.
